Walmart shoppers have been left outraged over a shock discovery inside their frozen chicken nuggets.
Customers have taken to TikTok to express their horror after they discovered their frozen chicken nuggets contained absolutely nothing inside them.
One user known as Amanda or @reedtimessix on TikTok shared a video revealing the shocking moment she realized that Great Value brand nuggets are seemingly completely hollow inside.
‘Excuse me Walmart,’ she wrote as she tore into a nugget – breaking it open to reveal the empty shell inside to her followers.
The stunned TikToker proceeded to open nugget after nugget, showing her viewers the empty insides of every one – each devoid of chicken.
The now viral video has sparked outrage online.
Hundreds of commenters quickly flooded the post with their own horror stories about the hollow Great Value brand nuggets.
‘Ours started doing that about 6 months ago. After trying 3 bags, I was livid! We just switched bc WTH?!’ one customer wrote.

Other viewers tried to find humor in the situation, with one joking: ‘That’s the great value part!’
Another wrote: ‘Depression nuggets filled with hope and dreams. Buy now at local Walmart and you too can have a spiral of a time eating them!’
Some commenters suggested creative ideas to salvage the nuggets.
‘Ok, but hear me out! Put a Pickle slice, & ranch in there & it’s a chicken flavored fried pickle bite! (Lemons to Lemonade),’ they wrote.
She’s not the only customer to face this issue.
Earlier this month, a customer named Mac, who goes by @opebigyikes on TikTok, shared her disbelief at finding her Great Value brand nuggets were completely hollow as well.
In the video that has also gone viral, Mac sits with a plateful of the cooked nuggets and declares: ‘I got these chicken nuggets from Walmart.’
How does this even happen?’ she asked in the caption of the video.

In January, Walmart recalled more than 12,000 cartons of broth in nine states amid fears it could be expired.
The retail giant pulled Great Value Chicken Broth from shelves due to compromised packaging.
The product concerned is sold across 242 stores in total, Fox News reports.
The reason for the recall was ‘potential for packaging failures that could compromise the sterility of the product, resulting in spoilage.’
