Cringe moment Jordon Hudson gatecrashes Bill Belichick interview as he’s grilled on their love life

Bill Belichick’s 24-year-old girlfriend Jordon Hudson left an interviewer squirming when she awkwardly in on the coach’s interview.   

Belichick, 73, sat down with CBS’s Tony Dokoupil this week to promote his new book. But he wasn’t alone as Hudson, described as ‘a constant presence during the interview,’ lurked off camera. 

The couple and their 49-year age gap have sparked controversy since taking their relationship public last year and their love life triggered another extremely awkward moment this week. 

Dokoupil began quizzing Belichick on the romance, in particular the critics who have relentless trolled the couple for their near half-century age difference but the University of North Carolina head coach brushed off the backlash.

‘[I’ve] Never been too bothered about what everyone else thinks. Just try to do what I feel is best for me and what’s right,’ Belichick bluntly responded. 

Yet, while the head coach’s romance with the former cheerleader has been the subject of many headlines over the past year but for the couple themselves, the topic is seemingly off the table. 

The host continued to ask the age-old question of how the couple met – an encounter that is reported to have taken place on a flight – but Hudson swiftly intervened.

The Miss Maine USA hopeful interjected in excruciating fashion to immediately shut the question down. 

Before Belichick could even open his mouth to get a word out, she called out, ‘We’re not talking about this.’ 

The cringe-worthy moment turned even tenser when Dokoupil turned to clarify and Hudson, a thunderous expression on her face, hit back with an emphatic, ‘no.’ 

However, Dokoupil, undeterred, wasn’t afraid to highlight the numerous social media posts Hudson has ceaselessly splashed across her Instagram page of the couple, including a particularly eye-catching one from last Halloween which showed her dressed as a mermaid on the beach while Belichick the fisherman reeled her in. 

The reporter once again attempted to engage the former New England Patriots coach, who had previously opposed the idea of social media apps, on the topic of their very public relationship. 

But yet again, the football icon remained unwieldy as he bluntly responded: ‘I’m on some of those social media platforms but I honestly don’t follow them.’ 

Following the excruciatingly awkward moment, Dokoupil, ever professional, smoothly pivoted back to football. 

It wasn’t the first time the subject of their relationship had been shut down on television this week.  

While carrying out his long-running ‘What’s Mad Dog Mad about?’ segment on Wednesday’s edition of ‘First Take’, Chris ‘Mad Dog’ Russo tried to go on a rant about Belichick’s younger lover, before ESPN bosses intervened.

Russo appeared to mention a controversial T-shirt Hudson wore last month mocking the Atlanta Falcons on the anniversary of their Super Bowl LI collapse against Belichick’s New England Patriots , which saw them blow a historic 28-3 lead.

However, as Stephen A. Smith and rap icon Snoop Dogg watched on in anticipation, the First Take co-host was stopped by host Molly Qerim before he could explain what had got him so worked up.

‘Belichick’s girlfriend with the 28-3 jersey which drove me crazy, did you see that this week?’ Russo first asked Qerim.

‘You wanna hear this? It’ll get me in trouble but I’ll tell you.’

But Qerim then said after receiving an order from the crew: ‘Oh they said no! They said no.’

As she tried to defuse the situation Russo then joked: ‘She got me in trouble!’

It is unclear why ‘Mad Dog’ was so irked by Hudson’s Falcons T-shirt this week, given the controversial selfie of her wearing it came back on March 28.

In a brutal dig at Atlanta, she wrote as the caption while posing with Belichick: ‘Happy 3-28 to those who celebrate’.

It also emerged earlier this month that Hudson had been pleading with the University of North Carolina to censor social media comments about the couple’s relationship.

‘Is there anyone monitoring the UNC Football page for slanderous commentary and subsequently deleting it / blocking users that are harassing BB in the comments?’ Hudson wrote in an email, according to The Athletic, after Belichick had requested the school’s communications team include her in all correspondence with him.

Belichick doubled down on her request the following day – Valentine’s Day – writing: ‘I cannot believe that UNC would support my being called a ‘predator.”

Neither Hudson nor Belichick expanded on their complaint and UNC is said to have not found a reference to the coach as a ‘predator.’

However, Robbi Pickeral Evans – North Carolina’s senior associate athletic director for external affairs and strategic communications – insisted that the school had hid or removed comments on their private life and would continue to do so in his response.

Pickeral reportedly branded the references – it would seem specifically the ‘predator’ comment – as ‘incredibly inappropriate, and as you noted below, UNC would NEVER support.’

Although Hudson does not have a contract or any other employment agreement with the school, it does appear that she has somewhat of a professional link to Belichick. 

The Athletic reports that Hudson’s email signature lists her as ‘the chief operating officer of Belichick Productions.’

However, the title only sparked more mystery as the outlet states it could not find a registered business record of Belichick Productions. 

Sunday’s latest intervention in their relationship comes after she sparked fears over their relationship with a bizarre post on social media last week.

Fans have become concerned for Belichick after he was seen tucking into a ‘lobster’ dinner with his lover. 

The lobster, however, was actually cut-up strawberries, accompanied with Graeter’s Ice Cream and a lemon slice. 

Hudson posted the photo sharing her plate of dessert and fruit with Belichick in the background eating the same. 

The 49-year age gap between them sparked controversy as soon as their relationship became public knowledge in 2024, despite the couple being together for more than three years. And Hudson’s recent photo only gave more fuel to those critics.

‘6x SB winning coach being fed like a toddler is peak 2026 bs,’ one football fan said.  

‘Praying for bill,’ another stated.

‘This is one of the most embarrassing things I’ve ever seen,’ a third added.
