Craig Melvin treats his family to luxury sun-kissed vacation as he prepares to replace Hoda Kotb on Today show
Today show presenter Craig Melvin celebrated ‘new beginnings’ as he reined in 2025 with his wife and children – as he prepares to replace Hoda Kotb.
It was announced in November that the broadcaster, 45, will take over from Hoda, 60, on the popular NBC breakfast show on January 13 as she steps down to focus on spending time with her two daughters.
Before his new job gets underway, Craig has been enjoying some well-deserved rest and recuperation on a luxury holiday with wife Lindsay Czarniak, 47, and their two kids – son Delano, 11, and daughter Sybil, nine.
Taking to Instagram to bid farewell to 2024, he shared a sweet photo of himself and his family smiling and holding each other close.
He also posted a picture of Lindsay and Sybil playing on a beautiful sandy beach, as well as a snap of Delano splashing around in the sea.
Captioning the post, Craig said: ‘Got away for a few days to celebrate new beginnings. Cheers to a really good 2024. Hello to a fantastic 2025.
‘Here’s to a happy new year to you and your tribe from the Melvins.
‘May it be a year filled with health, smiles, laughter, happiness, and peace beyond.’
