Cosmetic experts weigh in on Trump AG pick Pam Bondi’s age-defying look

Donald Trump’s pick for attorney general stunned at her Senate confirmation hearing this week.

And it wasn’t just her quick answers and political acumen that impressed.

People couldn’t believe that the rising MAGA star was 59 years old, with social media full of posts gushing about her age-defying looks.

Cosmetic experts have credited her youthful appearance, in part, to her incredible weight loss journey, estimating she had shed 50 to 70lbs in recent years.

Dr Norman Rowe, a plastic surgeon in Florida and New York City, said Bondi’s ‘stunning’ physical transformation shows ‘an ounce of prevention is worth a ton of cure’.

Meanwhile, Dr Paul Rosenberg — a plastic surgeon in New York City — believes her look was achieved with skillful use of makeup, hair dye and a rigorous skincare routine.

But Dr Rosenberg said he could not rule out cosmetic work.

He said that most women heading into their sixties, especially after losing lots of weight, have loose skin around the neck and cheek area.

While this could simply be good fortune, Dr Rosenberg said this could have been achieved with a face or neck lift, a procedure that tightens and lifts the skin.

‘Her nasolabial folds [creases that run from the sides of the nose to the corners of the mouth] are better in more recent photos and there is less sagging compared to before,’ he told DailyMail.com.

‘I don’t think that is diet — that is surgery. So, she may have had a neck lift and she may have had a facelift’.

The surgeons also hinted at possible Botox use. Dr Rowe said she had a suspiciously ‘stationary’ brow at the hearing, suggesting the muscles had been frozen by the injections.

MAGA is no stranger to plastic surgery rumors, with many of those in Trump’s inner circle rumored to have received cosmetic procedures, a trend dubbed by some as  the ‘Mar-a-Lago’ face.

Lara Trump, Trump’s daughter-in-law who is married to his son Eric, and Ivanka have been accused of going under the knife.

Matt Gaetz, who was nominated to be Attorney General for nine days before withdrawing and allowing Bondi to take up the nomination, has also been hit by plastic surgery rumors.

Dr Rowe applauded Bondi’s physical transformation, saying: ‘She is a poster child of someone who has taken care of themselves. This clearly shows how an ounce of prevention is worth a ton of cure.’

Crediting much of her transformation to weight loss, Dr Adam Rubinstein — a plastic surgeon in Miami — said: ‘She is a handsome woman and she has got very pretty features, and they largely haven’t changed over time.

‘What has happened is that she has slimmed down quite a bit.

‘She was the attorney general for the state of Florida, and that is a really busy job where you are running around from one meeting to the next with no time to spare.

‘So, unless you are making a concerted effort to take care of yourself — paying attention to eating well and exercising a little bit — the next thing you know you are looking at a scale number you never thought you’d see.’

Bondi was thrust into mainstream consciousness last month after she was nominated to be attorney general, after Matt Gaetz withdrew himself over sexual misconduct allegations.

On Wednesday, she appeared at a Senate Subcommittee hearing where she was grilled over her nomination.

The Subcommittee continued to hear from people who had worked with Bondi this week. She could be confirmed in the position the week after next.

Dr Sean McNally, a plastic surgeon from Oregon who spoke to the Daily Star, also suggested that Bondi may have had a neck lift.

He said: ‘Her neck skin looks less lax than I would expect for someone who lost 50 pounds.

‘She may have had minimally-invasive skin tightening with Renuvion or microneedling to help address this area.’

Bondi’s team did not respond to DailyMail.com’s requests for comment.

Responding to Bondi’s appearance online, Dr Sheila Nazarian — who is also a plastic surgeon — said: ‘Pam Bondi is 59 years old. 59. Years. Old.

‘As a plastic surgeon, I would like to shake the hand of whichever colleague of mine did that. Bravo. A medal. Wow.’

Another viewer said online: ‘At least she found a better plastic surgeon than the rest of the Republican women have been using (and Matt Gaetz).’

And a third said: ‘I have an important question for Pam Bondi, who is your plastic surgeon? Inquiring minds want to know!’
