Commentator trolls Georgia player’s wardrobe malfunction in Gonzaga loss

Georgia basketball star Dakota Leffew ended his college career by wearing his shorts inside out to start the Bulldogs’ embarrassing loss to Gonzaga.

Barely anything went right for Georgia in the opening moments against Gonzaga, trailing 27-3 at one point in the first half, ending their NCAA Tournament run before it truly got rolling.

Leffew’s wardrobe malfunction was not pointed out on commentary until the second half by Debbie Antonelli, with a freeze frame of the shocking moment being provided on screen.

‘Things just didn’t start well for Georgia today and everything feels a little backwards for them right now,’ Antonelli said on the broadcast, with the shot of Leffew.

The broadcast then gave a live shot of Leffew, sitting on the bench with his shorts now correctly on the lower half of his body.

Gonzaga led the game wire to wire to finish off their fellow Bulldogs 89-68, with Georgia scoring an even 41 second-half points with the team that ended its season.

Leffew came off the bench to play for 17 minutes for Mike White’s team, going a dismal 1-for-7 from 3-point range for five points.

Gonzaga advances to Saturday’s second-round matchup against No 1 seed Houston for a spot in the Sweet 16.

Georgia was one of 14 teams from the Southeastern Conference to make it into the NCAA Tournament, with only LSU and South Carolina watching from home.

Leffew started his college career at Mount St. Mary’s and played at the Maryland mid-major school for four years before transferring to Georgia for his final college season.

Leffew is originally from Hampton, Georgia and will now seemingly fall back on his degree from Mount St. Mary’s now that he has exhausted his college eligibility.
