Arab Defense Website November 7, 2024: A Chinese government-backed newspaper announced that China, with the arrival of the J-35, has now become the second country to possess two fifth-generation “aircraft.” Perhaps even more worrying for the Pentagon is that the People’s Republic of China is planning “For mass production” of its new J-35 aircraft. Known for its massive military production capacity, which has largely enabled its civil-military integration, the PLA may be well-positioned to accelerate mass production of the J-35. China has been building the J-20s at a rapid pace and has achieved an astonishing and unprecedented production capacity for warships, in part by opening additional shipyards across the country.
The Chinese newspaper Global Times said that the People’s Republic of China can produce its J-35 aircraft “in large quantities” and quickly.
