Dr. Sahar Al-Sunbati, President of the National Council for Childhood and Motherhood, received Doaa Mabrouk, Executive Director of the “Baseera” Foundation. For people with visual needs, to discuss ways of joint cooperation with regard to supporting and integrating children with visual disabilities into society. She added "Sunbati" The National Council for Childhood and Motherhood is keen to support families with children with disabilities, help meet their needs and fully integrate them into society.
Al-Sunbati pointed out: The meeting discussed ways of cooperation with regard to providing awareness services to families on how to deal with children with visual needs, as well as early detection of disability, raising awareness for all those dealing with children, as well as providing advice through the hotline 16000 “Child Help Line”. And providing the necessary support for cases that need medical support and rehabilitation services, and providing medical convoys in some governorates for early detection of disabilities.
For her part, Doaa Mabrouk, Executive Director of Baseera Foundation, confirmed the Foundation’s keenness to cooperate with the National Council  For childhood and motherhood, based on a work strategy adopted by the Foundation that aims to build bridges of communication and cooperation with the parties and bodies concerned with everything related to children in general and children with visual disabilities, in particular, in order to support their full integration into society, explore their abilities, skills and potentials, and develop and develop these skills, capabilities and capabilities. This supports changing negative stereotypes about him, facilitates his full integration into society, and targets the environment around him with awareness, especially mothers.
