Chiefs lose DeAndre Hopkins to the Ravens as star receiver agrees shock deal with Super Bowl rival

Ex-Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins has agreed to sign for the Baltimore Ravens, according to multiple reports.
The 32-year-old is set to pen a one-year, $6million deal in Baltimore after leaving Kansas City this offseason.
Hopkins was only traded to the Chiefs by the Tennessee Titans mid-season in October of last year, before going on to help Andy Reid’s men reach a third straight Super Bowl.
However, he failed to land his first championship ring after the Philadelphia Eagles ran out dominant winners in New Orleans.
In 10 appearances for the Chiefs, the five-time Pro Bowler and three-time first-team All-Pro had 41 receptions for 437 yards and four touchdowns.
Hopkins, who previously enjoyed spells with the Houston Texans and Arizona Cardinals as well as the Titans, will turn 33 this summer as he looks ahead to his 13th season in the NFL.

After being selected in the first round with the 27th overall pick at the 2013 draft, the former Clemson star spent seven years with the Texans, where he earned four of his five Pro Bowl selections.
He then spent three years in Arizona and two in Tennessee before being traded mid-season to Kansas City.
In return, the Chiefs sent a conditional 2025 fourth-round draft pick to the Titans which translated to a fifth-round pick due to the numbers of snaps he played for them.
Hopkins has racked up a staggering 12,965 receiving yards in his career, the most of any active NFL player.
The veteran receiver will now aim to form a successful partnership with superstar Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson in Baltimore, where he will also be reunited with ex-Tennessee teammate Derrick Henry.
Jackson now has another strong weapon to throw to, with Hopkins adding to a mouthwatering offense that already includes Zay Flowers and Rashod Bateman as well as Henry.
Earlier on Tuesday, another former Chiefs star – safety Justin Reid – secured his next move after leaving Kansas City upon the expiry of his contract this offseason.
Reid has agreed a three-year, $31.5million deal with the New Orleans Saints that includes $22.5m guaranteed, according to reports.
