A Cheltenham racegoer has revealed the clever way she snuck alcohol into the festival to avoid the astronomical prices for drinks.
The annual horse racing event came to a close last week, after the four-day fare of glamorously dressed punters and booze-fuelled spectating.
There was, of course, plenty of drama on the course but much attention was given to the way attendees skirted restrictions on bringing their own supplies into the Cotswolds venue, given the jaw dropping prices for food and drink.
In the days that have followed, one racegoer has revealed the sneaky way she snuck wine into the festival. A video posted on TikTok by the account ‘2girltravels’ showed one woman sellotaping bags of win to her legs which she was able to conceal under her wide-leg trousers.
It comes after another woman impressed racing fans with her cunning method of smuggling alcohol into the event.
The woman used a binocular flask to drink out of and quickly became a popular GIF which was used by ITV on social media.

Fans were left reeling after seeing the hilarious video of her taking a swig out of the binoculars and took to Twitter to react.
One fan wrote on: ‘I want a set of these for next Christmas.’
Hundreds of people were quick to heap praise on the woman for her clever approach to avoiding the high prices at Cheltenham.
Another wrote: ‘I’m struggling to think when I’ve seen anything better than this.’
Racing patrons had an unpleasant surprise this year when they reached the bars, only to find that drinks and food prices had skyrocketed.
One disgruntled spectator snapped a photo of food stall at on the course, where a back bacon roll was listed for a jaw dropping £8 – with the same item jumping to £8.50 for the addition of a fried egg.
Elsewhere on the Home Farm Organic Food stall, racegoers hoping to snaffle a portion of chips would have to shell out a whopping £5 for the pleasure – with even a cup of tea setting them back £3.10
A cheese and bacon ‘stack’, consisting of a farm organic beef burger, cheddar, streaky bacon, fried onions and lettuce, is also retailing for a hefty £13.50 – with a side of chips not included.

Meanwhile, a cheese burgers with fried onions, lettuce and tomatoes will also cost hungry patrons £11.50, again, without the addition of a side.
On top of that, a sausage bap served on a soft roll costs £10 while a ‘festive meal deal’, which includes sausage, chips and a drink, retails for £15.
Canned soft drinks were no cheaper, with fizzy beverages sold at £3.10 a pop and a tin of water costing £2.50.
It wasn’t just food that left punters enraged, with many taking to social media to lament their frustrations as the cost of drinks, which have soared in recent years.
Despite predicted record sales of Guinness this year, Cheltenham bosses decided to increase the price of the popular bevarage by 30p, charging punters £7.80.
One fan shared a receipt for a round of four Guinness with Mail Sport, coming to the cost of £31.20.
Meanwhile, a premium lager costs 40p less than a Guinness at £7.40, while the alcohol free version of the Irish stout is valued at the same price.
Wine lovers will be disappointed to find out that a 187ml costs £9.70, while the prices of spirits are kept between £7.20 and £7.30.
Soft drinks are priced at £3.10, while sparkling or still water would cost £2.50 – a 10 pence increased compared to last year.
