King Charles III embraced a Samoan dancing lesson during a Commonwealth reception at St James’s Palace in London on Wednesday, 2 October.
His Majesty’s performance was choreographed by Freddy Tuilagi, 53, the eldest brother of the famous rugby-playing siblings, during an event ahead of the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting in Samoa.
The King smiled as he moved and was watched by Queen Camilla.
Mr Tuilagi, an honorary consul with the Samoan High Commission, gave Charles a ceremonial fly swat, which was hung over his shoulder.
Asked to critique the monarch’s performance, he replied: “Good – he’s got the moves.”
