Dr. Ali Al -Ghamrawi, Chairman of the Egyptian Pharmaceutical Authority, participated today in the activities of the Ministry of Health and Population Conference on National Patient Safety Policies, which came under the title & quot; Patient SaFty for Leaders Training & quot;, under the auspices and presence of Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health and Population, and the participation of Dr. Mohamed Hassani, Assistant Minister of Health and Population for Projects and Public Health Initiatives, Dr. Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, Assistant Minister of Health and Population for Institutional Development, d. Naama Abed, representative of the World Health Organization at the Egyptian Office, d. Ahmed Taha, Chairman of the General Authority for Accreditation and Health Supervision, & nbsp; A high -level delegation from the heads of the concerned authorities and representatives of the World Health Organization in Egypt. /P>
During the event, Dr. Ali Al -Ghamrawi delivered a major speech in which he highlighted the importance of continuous development in public health services and improving the quality of patients ’life, and he pointed out that this event represents an excellent opportunity to enhance partnership with all the parties concerned within the health care system Egyptian and international partners and local, highlighting the efforts of the Egyptian Pharmaceutical Authority in the field of developing ways of healthcare management, supporting education and pharmaceutical awareness programs, and the citizen obtaining his pharmaceutical needs in accordance with the high quality, safety, and effective indicators that the Medicine Authority seeks to preserve through its strong regulatory system, Represented by manufacturing, storage, good distribution practices, and market control during the pharmacies trading, until the drug reaches the patient’s hand.
He also explained that continuous training and education is one of the main pillars in our strategy; Where the Egyptian Pharmaceutical Authority is keen to train health care providers, as well as raise the degree of awareness of all groups of society through various campaigns and awareness initiatives, and that the authority through the continuous professional development center holds periodic courses and workshops in all pharmaceutical fields for all parties concerned with companies and pharmaceutical factories And workers in government agencies concerned with health and pharmaceutical affairs. /P>
