CBS just can’t stop zooming in on busty March Madness fan sat behind Rick Pitino at New Mexico game

Cameras showing St. John’s head coach Rick Pitino in the crowd at New Mexico’s March Madness clash against Michigan State got more than they asked for, as fans focused on a busty woman behind him.
The unidentified Lobos fan in a red long-sleeve shirt caught the eye of college basketball fans on social media, as CBS showed her, due to getting Pitino on screen, multiple times.
Pitino was at the game to support his son, Richard Pitino, who is the head coach at New Mexico. The elder Pitino made the trip from Providence to Cleveland the day after the Red Storm were eliminated from March Madness by Arkansas on Saturday.
The woman was first shown when CBS first acknowledged the Red Storm’s head coach. She was on camera again heading into commercial, celebrating a Lobo basket by jumping to her feet in slow motion.
While the intention was to show a happy father at his son having success in one of the biggest games of his career, CBS did not mention the woman separately outside of showing her behind Pitino.
Some on the internet had a field day with seeing the woman so close to the college basketball legend.

‘Didn’t even notice the coach,’ one college basketball fan said on social media.
‘Check those bballs behind him, eh?’ another person stated on X.
‘My god. Who is that behind him?’ a third continued.
‘DONT LOOK BEHIND YOU RICK!!!’ one more fan added, as Pitino has been married to Joanne Minardi since 1976.

Much like his father, the younger Pitino exited the NCAA Tournament in the second round, as Michigan State used a strong second half to eliminated the Lobos.
The Pitino duo have worked together at only one school previously, when Rick was at the helm of Louisville.
Richard himself has been a head coach since 2012, with stops at Florida International and Minnesota before getting the New Mexico job.
Both Pitino’s teams will now have to watch the rest of March Madness from home, much like the woman sat behind the St. John’s coach.
