Can YOU spot the England kit blunder? Eagle-eyed fans notice huge difference in shirt – which kitman promises will be fixed TONIGHT

England’s kitman has promised to fix a quirky kit error after fans spotted a change in the side’s shirt against Albania.

Thomas Tuchel got his Three Lions reign off to a strong start with a 2-0 win over Albania at Wembley on Friday night thanks to goals from Myles Lewis-Skelly and Harry Kane.

And while most supporters wouldn’t have clocked it, the eagle-eyed among them realised that a blunder had been made.

Now, let’s get one thing straight – at least the colour was correct. Zero points to anyone who has already shouted that one out.

And don’t worry about the sizes, either – fortunately Dan Burn wasn’t asked to squeeze into an under-10s extra-small kit.

So, can you spot the error from the following images? We’ve contrasted some pictures from Friday night and last summer.

And here is an example of the right version

And let's take a peek at the right version again

Few fans noticed, but some raised it on social media and the kit man has explained the error

Oops! Here's another shot of the blunder - but can you spot it?

This is your final look at the correct version. Think hard!

If you’re not spotting it by now, maybe there’s not much hope for you! This is your last chance

Need a clue?

Take a look at the numbers.

It turns out that England kitman Pat Frost, who has been working for the FA since 2003, printed the numbers in the wrong place by accident.

They’re supposed to be printed in the centre of the front of the kit, but were actually placed off to the left (as we see it), below Nike’s tick.

‘Printed the first shirt and put them in wrong place so then had to do them in all in same place, back to the usual spot on Monday…..but well done for noticing,’ Frost explained to a fan on X.

While Frost was apologetic, some fans thought it actually looked better.

‘Look much better on the right – the number and Swoosh balances out the badge and match details on the left,’ one wrote.

‘I think it looks better offset, rather than centered…but I’m guessing that’s up to Nike to decide,’ another said.

‘Quite like them there to be honest,’ one said.

‘Think they look better at the side tbh,’ commented one.

Another urged: ‘Looks better, keep them on the side!’

The FA’s latest contract with Nike is worth a whopping £400million.
