Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health and Population, announced the provision of 135,170,000 47 medical services through the “100 Health Days” campaign. Since the launch of the second edition by Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, on the evening of July 31, 2024, until yesterday evening, Thursday, October 24, and within the framework of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s initiative, “A new beginning for building humanity.”
The doctor explained Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, the official spokesman for the Ministry of Health and Population, said that the campaign provided one million 519 thousand and 795 services yesterday, adding that according to the division of services of the various sectors, bodies and initiatives, the “100 Health Days” campaign It provided 468,874 services through the basic care and family planning sector.
Abdul Ghaffar added: The “100 Days of Health” campaign It provided 374,096 services through the curative care sector, in addition to providing 88,838 services affiliated with the presidential public health initiatives. The preventive medicine sector also provided 35,843 services, in addition to providing 83,368 services through the hospitals of the Secretariat of Specialized Medical Centers.
«Abdul Ghaffar» The campaign provided 40,653 services through units affiliated with the General Authority for Hospitals and Educational Institutes, while the Mental Health Support Initiative provided 108,468 services, while hospitals and clinics of the General Authority for Health Insurance provided 188,392 services.
“Abdul Ghaffar” said: The Ambulance Authority provided 4,260 ambulance services, while the specialized medical councils issued 11,088 treatment decisions at state expense, in addition to performing 1,723 operations on waiting lists, while the Foundation’s treatment hospitals provided 42,474 services. “Abdul Ghaffar” added: The “100 Days of Health” campaign It provided health awareness and education services to 71,718 citizens through community outreach teams spread across public areas, clubs and malls in the governorates, to raise awareness and direct citizens to receive the services provided by the campaign, in addition to holding educational seminars and awareness-raising activities.
