Caitlin Clark momentarily looked disengaged while watching LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers in a barnburner with the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday night.
The Indiana Fever star was in Gainbridge Fieldhouse as James, Luka Doncic, and the Lakers came to town for an exciting battle of fourth-seeded teams.
During ESPN’s broadcast, they featured Clark seated at one of the suites, noting her achievements from a record-filled rookie season.
However, the former Iowa Hawkeye had no sign of excitement while scrolling through her phone before a glance at the jumbotron. She then placed her phone down upon hearing the whistle before tuning in with her hand over her mouth.
Although she looked disinterested, the cameo took place during a timeout. The close nature of the game may have also caused Clark to be nervous for her NBA counterparts.
Unfortunately, the night ended sourly for the Pacers due to James’ heroics in the dying seconds.

Indiana was up, 119-188, with 10.3 seconds on the clock when Doncic collected a rebound and led the Lakers down the floor. After a series of passes to Austin Reeves and James, Doncic ended up with the ball before attacking the paint for a game-winning floater.
The ball bounced off the hoop before James tipped it back in milliseconds before the buzzer sounded, securing the 120-119 win for Los Angeles.
His game-winner redeemed James from a slow scoring evening for his standards, getting 13 points, 13 rebounds, and seven assists. Doncic and Reeves led the way for the Lakers with 34 and 24 points, respectively.
The Lakers are now 44-28 while the Pacers hold a 42-30 record.
Clark and the Fever will return to action against Angel Reese and the Chicago Sky on May 17.
