A Bunnings pro has named his three must-have products the hardware giant is stocking in 2025.
Mitch McLean, the store’s resident ‘DIY expert’, has identified a pizza oven, an inflatable outdoor projection screen and a hanging chair as the pick of the range, and urges others to take a look too.
The $199 Jumbuck oven is a far cheaper alternative to some of the higher-end brands out there – and is the ultimate gadget for outdoor entertaining.
The oven promises restaurant-quality pizzas and comes fully assembled with an insulated oven body, a powerful stainless steel burner, and a cordierite pizza stone optimised to achieve temperatures up to 482°C.
The included accessories include an XXL aluminium pizza peel, a cutter which ensures clean and precise slices and a carry bag making it easy to transport and store when not in use.
‘Saw this online and after it being elusive we saw it in stock whilst at a local Bunnings store so snatched it up. If you’re not sure, just get it. Best $200 ever,’ one shopper raved.
‘Don’t wait, just do it. Find any old 60-70 per cent hydration dough online. I usually make four bases, two used same day and two used after three days slow fermenting in the fridge.
‘If you’re patient and can wait the three days you will get a better crust with more leoparding. Same day dough still turns out great though.’

The second of Mitch’s recommendations is the $171 Costway 16ft inflatable screen.
Perfect for outdoor movie nights or watching a big game with mates, the inflatable outdoor projection screen is surprisingly affordable.

The cocoon shape leaves plenty of room for cushions, promising ‘incredible comfort and weightlessness’ as you laze by the pool or in the sunshine with a good book.
‘Just put this together today and it is amazing quality! Such a bargain and so very comfortable to lounge in,’ a shopper said after trying it out for the first time.
‘We tried a lot of egg chairs from different brands before purchasing this, and the quality of this chair far exceeds majority of other brands,’ another added.
‘It is the cheapest we could find and the cushion is so comfortable to sit on and feels like great quality.’
That said, many have noted that the basket is difficult to expand – so be sure to have a mate on hand for extra support should the need arise.
