Brittany Mahomes ‘confused’ by her rapid recovery after giving birth to her and Patrick’s third child
Brittany Mahomes has admitted her speedy recovery from giving birth to her third child has confused her.
Mahomes stunned everyone by making it to a Kansas City Chiefs game to cheer husband Patrick on in the playoffs just six days after giving birth to her third child earlier this month, Golden Raye – their second daughter.
Now, the 29-year-old opened up on the recovery process on social media, sharing the results from her ‘WHOOP’ fitness tracker.
‘Ever since I have been home from having Golden I have had a green recovery score except the first night,’ she said.
‘I’m very confused but also very happy not to be pregnant and tired all the time. Less sleep better recovery??? Make it make sense.’
Not only did Mahomes make it to the playoff game against the Houston Texans six days after giving birth, she was also seen sat on the floor watching husband Patrick’s press conference after the win.

In clips shared to social media, the former soccer player was spotted sat on the floor with her two eldest children – Sterling, 3, and Bronze, 2, – while Mahomes spoke from the podium.
She was back at Arrowhead Stadium the following week to cheer the Chiefs to victory over the Buffalo Bills, securing their place in this weekend’s Super Bowl in the process.
She is expected to be in New Orleans for Sunday’s showdown against Philadelphia Eagles.
The Chiefs have the chance to enter the history books as the first team in the Super Bowl era to win three straight titles.
The couple had announced last July that they were expecting another child together.
Six months later Brittany confirmed that she brought Golden Raye into the world on Sunday January 12.
In an Instagram post, she shared a photo of her and Patrick’s hands resting above Golden Raye’s feet, which were placed just in front of a sign with her name on it.
The 29-year-old Patrick had said on Christmas Day that Brittany was due to give birth imminently and joked that he hoped it was during his team’s bye week before the NFL playoffs.
Speaking after his team beat the Pittsburgh Steelers on Dec. 25, a win that gave his team an extra week off before the playoffs, Mahomes said: ‘I told my pregnant wife I was gonna get her the number one seed so we can go have that baby. So we got that number one seed.’
It was also reported that Taylor Swift gifted the baby with a thoughtful present of her own.
The Eras Tour star apparently knitted her a blanket and gifted it to the Mahomes family.
