Britney Spears has finished writing her memoir, which is supposed to be published by Simon & Schuster – and her team expects the book to go on sale as early as January 2023. However, a lack of paper has disrupted those plans, and it is not known when the issue will be resolved.
It is noted that two factors led to a shortage of paper. During the pandemic, people started to order more editions, which caused an increase in paper consumption. At the same time, its production did not increase, since employees were dismissed en masse from the pulp and paper mills.
Britney Spears signed a contract to publish her memoir book in February 2022. The contract was valued at $15 million, and in her memoirs she is expected to talk about her childhood, the rise of her career, and the struggle with her family over her father’s guardianship.
