Boston radio host slams Bill Belichick and accuses him of having ‘a vendetta’ against the Patriots
A Boston radio host has slammed Bill Belichick as a ‘petty little prick’ and accused him of having a ‘vendetta’ against the Patriots.
Belichick, who parted ways with New England earlier this year after 24 seasons with the franchise, has been staying around football with roles on the Pat McAfee Show and ESPN’s Manningcast, among others.
And Boston radio host Fred Toucher was apparently displeased with the legendary coach’s latest analysis following the Patriots’ win over the Bears last weekend.
‘Good old Belichick, who bad-mouthed the team again last night,’ Toucher said on 98.5 The Sports Hub’s ‘Toucher and Hardy’ show, per Awful Announcing.
‘He is such a d**k. I can’t believe Patriots fans don’t look at the guy now and think, ‘What a petty little prick.’ Because even when they do well, he doesn’t give them credit for doing well.

But Boston radio host Fred Toucher lashed out at Belichick’s latest analysis this week
‘When they do bad, I can see him crapping all over them,’ he continued. ‘Because at least that’s in the guise of doing your job. But when they do good and you don’t give them any credit… Literally make the statement ‘Well, it’s really not so much about the Patriots as it is the Bears.’ That’s holding a vendetta.’
Toucher’s remarks followed Belichick appearing on the McAfee Show, where he largely attributed the Bears’ loss to New England to their own ineptitude.
‘[Drake Maye] made some plays on play-action where he can separate the defense when the running game draws some of the coverage and linebackers up,’ Belichick said.
‘But you know, to me, the bigger thing is where the Bears are. They can’t protect, they can’t move the ball, and they can’t score any points.’
Earlier this season, Belichick also criticized his successor, Jerod Mayo, after he called his own players ‘soft.’
‘I think when you criticize your team publicly like that, it doesn’t always go over well,’ Belichick fired back on the Let’s Go! podcast, which also featured Tom Brady.
‘Every coach has their own style and maybe sometimes that can be effective. But ultimately I always felt that when the team played bad, that was my responsibility too.
Coach Jerod Mayo branded his players ‘soft’ earlier this season following a Patriots loss
‘We might have had bad playing but we had bad coaching that led to bad playing. So I think it’s always best to take a look at yourself and do what you can do to help the team.
‘If you have constructive criticism as a coach, that’s your job. But last year the Patriots led the league in rushing defense – yards per carry. No 1 in the league, this year they’re 26th or whatever it is.’
However, Toucher’s criticism of Belichick went past just football, as he referenced the coach’s Halloween costume with his 23-year-old girlfriend, Jordon Hudson.
‘The next one, maybe he’ll be the mermaid and she’ll be the fisherman. Reverse the roles. I’m telling Jordon, maybe not yourself in the photo so much next time. Bill in a little boy sailor suit with a big lollipop and a balloon. Maybe you can dress like a hot librarian scolding him for bringing the balloon and the lollipop in the library.’
The Patriots are 3-7 and still last in the AFC East after beating Chicago.
