Border Guard forces thwart an attempt to smuggle quantities of narcotic drugs through the Gulf of Suez
In implementation of the directives of the General Command of the Armed Forces to intensify border security operations on all strategic directions of the state, the Border Guard forces succeeded in thwarting an attempt to smuggle quantities of narcotic substances “banjo plant and hashish essence” During an attempt to smuggle them across the eastern coast of the Gulf of Suez, the seized items were referred to the competent authorities to take legal action against them.
The Border Guard forces continue their intensive efforts day and night to tighten control over the ports and crossings. The state’s borders and taking legal measures against criminal elements.
