South Korean Bodybuilding YouTube star Park Seung-hyun died on Sunday at age 35, with his brother sharing the news of the passing due to ‘health reasons’ on Park’s social media.
Park had previously admitted to using steroids and also had amassed over 830,000 subscribers on YouTube.
Park’s brother announced the death with a framed photo of his brother around multiple wreaths of flowers.
‘On January 5, 2025, 15:51 my brother Seung Hyun went to heaven due to health reasons,’ the post said. ‘The parents’ feelings are not accepted, we don’t take advice. May you rest in peace with a heart of comfort.’
‘May his soul rest in peace,’ a few comments read.
Park’s latest Instagram post on his own behalf was of him flexing in the middle of a biceps workout.

His post did end with him saying he was ‘feeling very lonely’.
Park’s family has not divulged further information as to what specific ‘health reasons’ led to his passing.
The South Korean’s popularity came in part due to his steroid-use admission, with him trying to bring awareness to how much drugs are taken in bodybuilding.
In a video posted three months ago, Park opened up about some of his struggles in recent years.
‘I have been battling depression and receiving psychiatric treatment,’ Park said. ‘Financial difficulties have arisen because I haven’t been able to continue my YouTube activities. I feel lonely even though I shouldn’t. I will find my way back to myself and return someday.’
Park did take a social-media hiatus, with him returning to posting content for the final month of his life.
