Blake Lively has been granted a protective order in her case against It Ends With Us co-star Justin Baldoni which will stop him from leaking further sensitive information to the public.
According to court documents obtained by Page Six, a judge granted Lively’s request after her team shared their concern that Baldoni would release confidential videos, emails and text message exchanges with her celebrity pals.
“The court rejected the Wayfarer Parties’ objections and entered the protections needed to ensure the free flow of discovery material without any risk of witness intimidation or harm to any individual’s security,” Lively’s team told TMZ.
“With this order in place, Ms. Lively will move forward in the discovery process to obtain even more of the evidence that will prove her claims in court.”

From now on, all evidence that both parties hope to use in court to defend their case must be kept “confidential” and for “attorneys’ eyes only”. This includes non-public photographs and videos, audio recordings, “the identity and nature of personal relationships” and medical and mental health records.
With that said, Page Six notes there’s a “loophole in the protective order”, as the filing states that “the Court is unlikely to seal or otherwise afford confidential treatment” for documents brought up in court.
So good news, pervy fans, we will have access to some of the tea from the courtroom in March 2026.

Meanwhile Baldoni’s lawyer Bryan Freedman told Page Six that they were “in full agreement with the court’s decision to provide a narrow scope of protections to categories.”
Freedman claimed his team does not plan on accessing “private mental health records,” but alleges Lively has “exceedingly overbroad demand for documents for a 2.5 year period of time which the court rightly quashed.”
“We remain focused on the necessary communications that will directly contradict Ms. Lively’s unfounded accusations,” he continued.
“We will oppose any efforts by Ms. Lively and her team to hamper our clients’ ability to defend against her attacks by incorrectly categorising important information as ‘trade secrets.’”
Lively’s team previously expressed concerns that if Baldoni leaked conversations between the actress and her celebrity pals, it could cause “irreparable harm”.
As reported by Page Six, Governski flagged a “significant chance of irreparable harm” from private communications in the public eye.
“There is a significant chance of irreparable harm if marginal conversations with high profile individuals with no relevance to the case were to fall into wrong hands,” she claimed.
“There are 100 million reasons for these parties to leak information because the PR value is greater than complying with the court’s orders.”
It comes after Justin Baldoni launched a website with footage pertaining to Blake Lively.
