Netflix just dropped perhaps the worst-timed content in the history of civilisation titled Torching 2024: A Roast of the Year in which comedian Hannah Berner calls Blake Lively a c*nt.
As the title suggests, the TV spesh features comedians taking the piss out of the biggest headlines of the year.
You may have forgotten as the public is now staunchly team Blake Lively after she accused It Ends With Us director Justin Baldoni of sexual assault, but prior to the mad 180, punters were pretty 50/50 on the matter.
In fact, part of the lawsuit involves Lively accusing Baldoni and his team of orchestrating a “smear campaign” that greatly impacted her career.
In Torching 2024: A Roast of the Year, the comedians rip into everything from the murder of CEO Brian Thompson by mega hottie Luigi Mangione to P Diddy’s legal battles to the drone sightings.
At one point, Hannah Berner says: “The word c**t was trending this year,” before adding, “I don’t think Blake Lively was that bad”.
It seems like either the powers that be at Netflix forgot that part was in there or perhaps it was too late to edit it out… or maybe they didn’t want to because frankly if not for that scene, I probably wouldn’t be writing this right now and therefore, you wouldn’t be reading it and learning of the special.
Anticipating the backlash, Berner took to her Instagram Story to clarify: “My joke in the Netflix roast was filmed before news of the lawsuit. To be 100 percent clear, I support Blake xoxo.”

So, See You Next Tuesday comment aside, I guess we can add Hannah Berner to the growing list of celebrities who have publicly voiced their support of Blake Lively amid her legal battle against It Ends With Us director Justin Baldoni.
In Berner’s defence, I’m sure if the special had been filmed after the allegations had come to light, Baldoni would’ve been the one described as a c**t.
Please remember that for the next Netflix comedy special!
