Birth preservation between law and medicine.. Al-Azhar Mosque holds the first jurisprudential forum
The first sessions of the Medical Jurisprudence Forum were held at Al-Azhar Mosque, which came under the title: “Preserving births between medicine and Sharia,” coinciding with the “A New Beginning for Human Building” initiative.
The forum was attended by Professor Dr. Abbas Shoman. , Secretary General of the Council of Senior Scholars, and Professor Dr. Mahmoud Siddiq, Vice President of Al-Azhar University, and the meeting was moderated by Dr. Hani Odeh, Director General of Al-Azhar Mosque.
Dr. explained. Mahmoud Siddiq said that preserving birth is a pivotal issue addressed by Islamic law, and the Holy Qur’an spoke about it, and established great laws and controls for it. God Almighty said: {And of everything We created two pairs}, and this verse carries in its content the preservation of birth in harmony between medicine and law, and the Sunnah has focused on it. The purified prophetic hadiths abounded with the hadiths of the Chosen One, peace and blessings of God be upon him. In the context of preserving birth, the Holy Qur’an guarantees the spouses the rights of honor and the absence of mixing of lineages.
When a pregnant woman is divorced or her husband dies, no one can marry her until her womb is healed of what is in it, as the womb is occupied, and she is divorced, she is cut off. This example was mentioned in the Holy Qur’an with two of the prophets of God Almighty: our master Abraham and our master Zechariah, peace be upon them.
The Holy Qur’an mentioned in preserving the offspring that only a male and a female were created for the continuation of the universe and the worship of God, and it set controls and matters that are impossible The human mind must establish such laws that will make the nation and family happy, and that there will be a society that worships God and is truly God’s successor on earth.
In the context of his speech, Dr. stressed. Mahmoud Siddiq stressed the importance of man following God’s method and nature, warning against rebellion against this nature, and stressing that any departure from it is following Satan. He mentioned the Almighty’s saying in his conversation about Satan: “And I will command them, so that they may change the creation of God,” indicating that adhering to the laws and Sunnahs that God has established guarantees the goodness of the situation in this world and the hereafter.
