Bill Belichick makes rare hint at his romance with Jordon Hudson in emotional goodbye to ‘Inside the NFL’

Bill Belichick said a fond farewell to the ‘Inside the NFL’ crew on Wednesday night, as he ended his time on the program and prepared to take the reins at UNC.

The legendary NFL coach, 72, shocked the football world when he accepted the college job with North Carolina, and such is the workload in his new role, he is stepping back from various media duties.

He only joined ‘Inside the NFL’ on the CW Network in July 2024, and after one full season he said goodbye to fellow hosts Ryan Clark, Chris Long and Chad Johnson in their final show after the Super Bowl.

In his closing comments, he even appeared to hint at his headline-making romance with 24-year-old cheerleader Jordon Hudson, admitting ‘it’s been a great year for me.’

As he walked over to the desk at the end of the show, Belichick said: ‘Fellas, I can’t tell you how much I’ve enjoyed being with you this year on “Inside the NFL”. 

‘This was a great year for me, and I appreciate you welcoming me.’

After he was lavished with praise by Clark, Long and Johnson, he then added: ‘Chad, you and Ryan are both welcome down there [at UNC]. Chris, we’ll see you at Virginia.’

Belichick was referring to Long’s history, in which he played for longtime UNC rival Virginia during his college days. 

In recent months, the legendary Patriots coach has been in the headline perhaps more than in his heyday, due in no small part to his relationship with Hudson.

Belichick and Hudson first met four years ago on a flight, and began dating the following year – although it only became public last summer.

This week, they were in New Orleans together attending the Super Bowl, even getting some heat from Snoop Dogg while sat in the crowd at NFL Honors. 

This week, Hudson sparked engagement rumors with Belichick by showing off her nails for the Super Bowl. 

The former cheerleader was captured with a huge rock on her left ring finger by DailyMail.com during Super Bowl week.

And, despite the onslaught of hate she receives over their unorthodox romance, the brunette beauty appears to have dropped yet another hint that the University of North Carolina coach has popped the question – despite their 48-year age gap.

Hudson brushed off the online trolls as she took to Instagram Tuesday night to show off her incredibly intricate nail set design for the Super Bowl last week.

The beauty pageant queen, who turned heads when she walked the red carpet with Belichick at the NFL Honors, had specially designed the nail art for the week’s festivities which culminated in Super Bowl LIX down in New Orleans.

Six of the nails featured the Patriots logo representing the six Super Bowls the NFL legend won in New England. The first of the six featured one gem-encrusted Lombardi Trophy with each nail adding another until the last represented each one he had hoisted alongside Brady and Co.

The most eye-catching part of the set, though, came on her left ring finger, which has garnered a lot of attention over the past week. The design, which was relatively simple compared to the rest of her digits, was comprised of a pink gem interlocked with a silver one.

The design is a mirror image of the ring that the ex-cheerleader has been sporting on the same finger over the past week. That very ring could be seen in the background of her Instagram photo with Hudson taking it off to have her nails done.

Hudson was first captured wearing said ring in DailyMail.com photos last Wednesday night when she stepped out in the Big Easy with Belichick in tow for a charity event she set up for those affected by the New Years Day terror attack on Bourbon Street.

It was this ring which fueled speculation that the couple, who have been dating for about three years, could be now engaged.
