Biden congratulates Governor "Minnesota" On his selection as a candidate for the position of Vice President
US President Joe Biden called Minnesota Governor Tim Walz on Tuesday to congratulate him on being selected as his running mate in the upcoming election, White House spokeswoman Emily Simmons said.
Simmons said – according to CNN – that President Biden had another call with Kamala Harris, before officially announcing her selection of the Minnesota Governor as her running mate in the upcoming election.
Informed sources had reported a short while ago that Harris is scheduled to appear with Walz during an election rally later today in Philadelphia.
Harris has officially secured the Democratic Party’s presidential nomination after the Democratic National Committee announced the official results of the online voting.
