US President Joseph Biden, during a conversation with reporters, called for Russia to be excluded from the G20 (G20.
“As far as the G-20 is concerned, my answer is yes,” said the President of the United States.
Biden noted that the issue of excluding the Russian Federation has already been discussed, but not all G-20 countries agree on this.
“If Indonesia and other countries don’t agree, I think we should think about giving Ukraine the opportunity to attend the meetings, and give it the opportunity to attend the G-20,” Biden explained.
Earlier, US National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan announced that the United States is studying with its allies the issue of Russia’s exclusion from the Group of Twenty.
Polish Foreign Minister Zbigniew Rau also said that discussions are underway on a possible replacement of the Russian Federation in the G20.
