Beyoncé & Jay-Z Consider Legal Action After Kanye West’s Posts

Beyoncé and Jay-Z are reportedly considering legal action after Kanye West took aim at their two children in a disturbing social media post earlier this week.

ICYMI, West targeted the musician couple’s seven-year-old twins, Rumi and Sir, in a since-deleted post on X, using an ableist slur and making inappropriate comments about their mental capacity.

The rapper — who now goes by Ye — later removed the post from his X page, but said he did so only to avoid being removed from the platform.

“I need everyone to know that I took the post about Jay Z and Beyoncé’s family down… because there was a possibility of my Twitter being cancelled,” West wrote.

Now, a source has told Page Six that Beyoncé and Jay-Z may respond to West’s social media posts with legal action.

“Jay-Z and Beyoncé are aware of the posts Kanye has since deleted and are discussing how they want to handle this situation, whether that be privately and/or in a legal matter,” the insider said.

The source went on to claim that Beyoncé and Jay-Z — the latter of whom previously collaborated with West on songs like “Run This Town” — found it “shocking” that their children were subject to such attacks.

“[They] will absolutely not stand for it [after West] has spoken about their children in such a vulgar and offensive manner,” the source said.

While the pair, according to the insider, “have no plans on publicly addressing Kanye’s X posts”, West was seemingly criticised for the messages by Beyoncé’s mother, Tina Knowles.

“It’s hard to remain positive and classy in the face of ignorance and evil”, Knowles wrote in a since-edited Instagram caption on Wednesday (per Page Six).

“But I know that no weapon formed against me or my family shall prosper.”

It comes amid a string of offensive posts that have seen the controversial rapper take aim at Drake, Playboi Carti, John Legend and his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian

In response to West’s X post-spree, Kardashian is said to be “appalled” that her ex-husband “would use that kind of language about anybody, let alone when it comes to children”, a source told Page Six.

“Kim has had enough and she’s done trying to be reasonable with Kanye when it comes to communication”, they added.
