Yankees vs. Dodgers history ahead of World Series 2024 matchup

The Yankees and Dodgers are getting ready for a 12th World Series matchup with the 2024 series on tap.

While New York Yankees fans throughout the region are rejoicing over the team’s return to the World Series after a 15-year absence, not everyone will be able to enjoy the games in person.

Tickets for Games 3 and 4 (and Game 5, if necessary) in the Bronx are fetching more than $1,000 on secondary markets, and even higher for a more lavish Yankee Stadium trip. The first two games, set for Friday and Saturday, are taking place almost 3,000 miles away at the home of the National League champion Los Angeles Dodgers.

Fortunately for locals not looking to spend a fortune on a single ticket, there are no shortage of sports bars in North Jersey. Instead of braving the chilly late-October weather at the stadium, Yankees fans can cheer on their team from afar while grabbing food and drinks and catching the game on large TVs or projector screens.

Here are some of the top bars in the area that will offer the best gameday experiences during this year’s World Series.
