Battle for Miovski intensifies as Genoa and Southampton join chase for £6.5m-rated Aberdeen striker
Genoa and Southampton are preparing to submit offers for Aberdeen striker Bojan Miovski.
Mail Sport reported last week that newly-promoted Spanish side Espanyol has opened the bidding for the coveted North Macedonian.
The offer, understood to be in the region of £3million, fell significantly short of Aberdeen’s valuation of £6.5m and was kicked out.
The 25-year-old attracted attention from across Europe with his 26 goals last season, with the race for his services expected to intensify.

Dons boss Jimmy Thelin insists Miovski is content at Pittodrie, but more bids are expected
Miovski made his first start of the season as the Dons opened their league account under new coach Jimmy Thelin with a 2-1 win over St Johnstone in Perth.
Thelin praised the striker’s attitude and professionalism after the game, saying: ‘He has been sharp in training and really focused, and there is a lot of positive energy in the pitch and the locker room.
‘He showed he is here and wants to do well at Aberdeen. He has been fighting in training, giving it 100 per cent, and you can see he is a really good player.
‘Right now he is an Aberdeen player and we focus on that in training day by day.’
