Bangladesh to seek scraping of 'uneven agreements' on borders with India: Home Adviser

Bangladesh’s interim government plans to renegotiate some border agreements with India in an upcoming meeting. The discussions will address border management, killing of nationals, smuggling issues, and development within 150 yards of the frontier. Bangladesh will also propose the installation of an immigration checkpoint at Kulaura Railway Station and discuss mutual initiatives to enhance trust.
