In implementation of the directives of the political leadership, and within the framework of the presidential initiative “A New Beginning for Human Building,” launched by Prime Minister Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, to improve the quality of life for all citizens in various parts of the Republic by providing government services in the fields of: education, health, culture, sports, and employment, in an integrated manner between the various participating parties, which is consistent with what the government committed to in its work program for the period 2024 &ndash ; 2027.
The Labor Directorate in Giza Governorate organized an awareness seminar within the activities of the “Your Safety is Important to Us” initiative. To spread the culture of occupational safety and health, on the evacuation and emergency plan in cases of fire, and the role of the occupational safety and health committee and apparatus in establishments, at the Misr Electromechanical Industries Company, Kahromica, in the central Giza region, with the participation of a number of (20) employees of the company.
The lectures during the symposium dealt with occupational safety and health, its methods, emergency plans, and fire risks. This comes within the directorate’s intensive activities in the field of spreading the culture of occupational safety and health in the work environment and the importance of educating workers in establishments in order to preserve their lives and protect them and those who visit them. From any potential risks, as a new beginning for building the Egyptian human being, this comes under the supervision of the Central Administration for Occupational Safety and Health and Securing the Work Environment in the Ministry.
