"Aswan Endowments" Sheikh Ibrahim Al-Atiq Mosque opens in the city of Daraw, and the total number reaches 172

Major General Ayman Al-Sharif, Secretary General of Aswan Governorate, as deputy to the governor, and Sheikh Samir Khalil, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Endowments, opened the Sheikh Ibrahim Al-Atiq Mosque in the city of Daraw, after completing its replacement and renovation through their own efforts.

The first Friday prayer was held in the mosque after the completion of the complete replacement and renovation of the mosque at a cost of 3 million pounds, as a charity for the soul of the late Noura bint Hassan bin Al-Muammar, from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The Friday prayer rituals began with the opening of the mosque, in the presence of the leaders of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif and the Endowments in Aswan Governorate, with the recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an by Sheikh Abdullah Al-Suhagy, then the Friday call to prayer was announced by Sheikh Saleh Al-Halawani, and Sheikh Samir Khalil, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Endowments, delivered the Friday sermon, which was entitled “Modesty is the Creation of Islam.” “.

With this opening of Sheikh Ibrahim Al-Atiq Mosque in the city of Daraw, the number of mosques that were opened in Aswan Governorate reached 172 mosques.
