Ariana Grande & Cynthia Erivo Lead Performance Line-Up For 2025 Oscars

It’s that time of the year again! The 2025 Oscars are just around the corner, and we’ve got the lowdown on who’s set to dazzle us on stage. Forget the usual Best Original Song performances –- this year, the Academy’s is giving us a lineup that is straight up stacked! Let’s dive into who’s bringing the most to Hollywood’s biggest night!

Hold onto your broomsticks, because the Wicked duo is about to defy gravity at the Oscars. Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande, fresh from their iconic roles, are set to cast a spell over the audience. Will they belt out “Defying Gravity”? We can only hope, but whatever they do, I’ll definitely be holding space for it.

Doja Cat, LISA and RAYE

The dynamic trio, LISA, Doja Cat and RAYE, blessed our ears earlier this month when they released the banger that is “Born Again” and thankfully the Academy has invited these divas onto the Oscars stage, however they have confirmed that they won’t be singing their newly released song. (I too gasped out loud.) But, don’t worry they promised the performance will still be “legendary”.

LISA will also be making history as the first K-pop idol to perform at the Oscars. She’s about to show Hollywood how it’s done!!

In the meantime, join me in watching the “Born Again” music video for the 52827th time:

Queen Latifah

The Queen is in the house! Queen Latifah‘s taking the stage for what’s promised to be “a moment you won’t want to miss”. With her royal presence, we’re expecting nothing less than a show-stopping performance that’ll have us all bowing down.

Los Angeles Master Chorale

For a touch of class amidst the pop extravaganza, the Los Angeles Master Chorale will be making a special appearance, per ABC News.

So there you have it – the 2025 Oscars are shaping up to be a great show!! Hosted by Conan O’Brien, this year’s ceremony is promising “showstopping performances celebrating the filmmaking community and some of its legends”.

Mark your calendars for 11.00am AEDT on Monday March 3 so you can watch the show, streaming on Channel 7 or catch up on 7 Plus. And if you want to have a peep on who may take out all the big awards you can check out all the nominations HERE.
