It’s been rumoured that a Married At First Sight 2025 (MAFS) fan-favourite couple have called it quits, proving that love truly doesn’t exist. Well, at least on MAFS, it doesn’t.

Unfortunately, in a ‘yuge blow for MAFS 2025 fans, Jamie Marinos and Dave Hand have reportedly called it quits following their stint on the show.
Now, before I get into the reality TV tea, please take it with a grain of salt. Neither Jamie nor Dave have confirmed their relationship status and MAFS Final Vows has yet to air!
So again, please take this tea with a grain of salt.
Are Jamie Marinos and Dave Hand still together?
Per Woman’s Day, an anonymous source claimed that they saw Jamie at a restaurant in Moonee Ponds, Melbourne with “a tall, dark and handsome man with striking similarities to Dave”.
The source said they thought the bloke was Dave, however upon “closer inspection”, they determined it was just a look-a-like.
“She was comfortable enough to wear no makeup and cute activewear,” the source dished.
The spicy piece of gossip comes days after Jamie seemingly revealed her relationship status with Dave in an interview with New Zealand’s Three Now.
When asked about her “favourite moment” on MAFS, Jamie shared that it was when she was having a meltdown over not having a tan for Beth Kelly and Teejay Halkias‘ wedding.
During the scene, Dave “scooped” Jamie up to help ease her sadness, which is something she said she wishes could happen all the time.
“Dave scooping me up like a little baby was just iconic and I honestly wish Dave could just scoop me up every time I have a meltdown,” Jamie dished.
“For now until the future.”
Hmmm… From now until the future, you say??? Maybe it was Dave at the restaurant with Jamie!
While everything between Jamie and Dave remains uncertain — and as much as I would love for them to make it beyond the ouch couch — I would not be surprised if they split post-MAFS.
To give you a quick recap on Jamie and Dave’s MAFS journey, the pair were smitten at the start. Jamie was fully attracted to Dave, and Dave always had Jamie’s back during tough situations.
However, things came crashing down for the MAFS fan favourites when the Victoria-based groom suddenly pulled back from his relationship with Jamie after she confessed her love for him.
While the pair agreed to stay and try to patch things up ahead of Final Vows, I reckon Jamie has fallen out of love with Dave following his sudden attitude change that left her uncertain about their future.
And honestly, I don’t blame her!
But with all the plot twists MAFS 2025 has handed us, I also wouldn’t be too surprised if Dave and Jamie somehow made it work. Fingers crossed they get the happy ending they both deserved despite the rumours!
