Anthony Delon, guide for private tours of Douchy? “There is a serious problem…”

Since the departure of Alain Delon, uncertainty has hovered around his Douchy estate. Will it become a museum? Will one of his children renovate it? Will Anthony do private tours? He reacted.

Anthony Delon is furious, and he makes it known. In a video posted on Instagram, the 60-year-old actor denounces a scam which exploits his name and directly targets the memory of his father, Alain Delon. In front of the camera, he explains the extent of the deception, while calling on victims to be careful and take action.

Anthony Delon: what scam was he the victim of?

Anthony Delon does not hide his anger. In a video posted on Instagram on Sunday October 26, the actor denounces a scam orchestrated on Facebook, where his identity was stolen. Facing the camera, in front of the Douchy residence, a highly symbolic place where his father, Alain Delon, died and was buried, Anthony speaks with gravity: “If I speak out, it’s because there is a serious problem.”

According to his explanations, a Facebook page followed by nearly 8,000 people used his name to organize false guided tours of the family residence. The scam is well established: scammers have directed victims to private exchanges on Messenger, then to a Telegram number. There, they managed to extract up to 500 euros, promising exclusive meetings with Anthony Delon.

Delon family: a recurring target for scammers

Unfortunately, this is not the first time that the Delon family has found itself at the heart of a scam. At the end of August, shortly after the death of Alain Delon, another hijacking took place. A fake video was circulating on social networks, making people believe that the actor wanted to leave his legacy to the French. Behind this video was actually a link to an online casino, taking advantage of the deceased’s notoriety to deceive Internet users.

Faced with these repeated attacks, Anthony Delon expressed his intention to file a complaint, even if the Montargis public prosecutor’s office has not yet confirmed a filing. In the meantime, he insists on the vigilance to be adopted: “I only have Instagram, I don’t have a Facebook account”, he reminds, while urging victims to report the scam to the competent authorities. This situation highlights the dangers of identity theft, a phenomenon that affects even the most famous families.
