An inspection tour by the Governor of Beni Suef to follow up on the progress of work in the new reconciliation system

Dr. Mohamed Hani Ghoneim, Governor of Beni Suef, followed up on the progress of work on the reconciliation file in accordance with the new system and amendments to the reconciliation request issued by Prime Minister Resolution No. 3504 of 2024, as of today, Saturday, November 23, 2024. He was accompanied during the tour by Major General Sami Allam, Assistant Secretary-General, and Ali Youssef, head of the city of Beni Suef, Maha Abu Bakr, head of the Coordinating Committee for Reconciliation, and Shaima Saeed, director of the Technology Center.

The amendments to the executive regulations of the Reconciliation Law aim to make it easier for citizens, speed up the file cycle, and reduce the time period required to decide on requests, while emphasizing that citizens retain their right to the amounts they had previously paid in previous procedures before making the amendments.

During his tour, the governor listened to the citizens who happened to be present during his visit to the technology center in the city of Beni Suef, where specialists responded to inquiries related to the new system, where it was explained that the data certificate had become an integrated part of the reconciliation file, with the necessity of submitting a complete application, whether through the citizen. Or an engineering or consulting office, and it was emphasized that the data certificates submitted before this date must be completed and delivered to the citizen to be used in filling out the new reconciliation application and attaching them to the application.

According to the new system, the reconciliation cycle in the new system reaches 45 days for requests that do not include a state body, and 3 months for requests that require approvals from state bodies, while Engineer Maha Abu Bakr, head of the Coordinating Committee for Reconciliation, explained that the documents required in accordance with the new system and the reconciliation law No. 187 of 2023, on some building violations and legalizing the conditions, whether for the first time or for those rejected under Law No. 17, according to the form The information shown in the technological centers specifies the required items, as items (3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 12, 13, 14) are considered mandatory items that must be included in the reconciliation file, while items (1, 2, 7, 9, 10, 11) Optional for those in whose case these terms apply, each in their own regard.

The governor directed the importance of continuing media efforts in coordination with the relevant authorities, to explain the details of the reconciliation procedures for building violations and the facilitating procedures that are being implemented, while urging citizens to benefit from the new law for reconciliation, preserving their real estate properties, and increasing their value.

The Governor of Beni Suef also stressed the need to continue efforts to provide all necessary facilities to citizens at the level of all technological centers responsible for receiving reconciliation requests, directing the heads of cities to maintain a continuous field presence to follow up the functioning of the system as necessary.
