An independent fishmonger has opened in Agen (Lot-et-Garonne). A customer discovers this for the first time new kind of business. The concept is already widespread for bread, flowers and even fruits and vegetables. “It’s very good, it’s fresh and it’s easy”testifies a customer who comes regularly.
Deliveries are made every day and the lockers are restocked every morning. Fresh fish is available day and night, at market price. Even if there is no fishmonger in store, the business requires significant logistics. Customers, as numerous during the day as at night, can also place an order through an application. There are two independent fishmongers left in Agen. For Carine Gaborit, a fishmonger in the city, this idea is a good one. She sees a “little competition”because its customers also come for the proximity to the seller.
