Ambassador Shukri Fouad was named after the 57th batch of new attaches at the Institute of Diplomatic Studies

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Egyptian Affairs Abroad, Dr. Badr Abdel Aty, directed that the 57th batch be named after Ambassador Shukri Fouad; Latest batches at the Institute of Diplomatic Studies; In recognition of the late Ambassador’s great contribution to diplomatic work, and his fundamental role in leading the comprehensive modernization and restructuring process of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the early 1990s, in addition to his founding role in the Political Planning Department in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

This comes as an extension of the established tradition at the Institute of Diplomatic Studies of releasing the names of senior figures of Egyptian diplomatic work to the batches enrolled at the Institute.
