Counselor Amal Ammar, President of the National Council for Women, said that women have had abundant luck in appointments to the Administrative Prosecution Authority, one of the pillars of the judicial authority in Egypt, where the number of female members of the Administrative Prosecution, who constitute nearly half of its members (2,365 women), is what The Administrative Prosecution Authority is unique in that it is an ancient Egyptian judicial body.
In her statement today, Ammar pointed to many decisive and fair decisions taken by the Administrative Prosecution Authority. Which reflects appreciation of the role of women and belief in their abilities, and reflects the Authority’s keenness to enhance women’s empowerment and their access to leadership positions.
