"Alexandria education": Expulsion of the student who assaulted a classmate at Burj Al Arab School

Nour El-Elm Combined Secondary School, affiliated with the Burj Al-Arab Educational Administration, witnessed an unfortunate incident, where a student assaulted a female colleague after the end of the day’s study with a sharp object.

The Directorate of Education in Alexandria announced that the necessary measures had been taken, as the aggressor student was expelled to serve as an example to everyone who dares to do a similar act, and stressed that the school is an arena for learning and not for acts of bullying.
The directorate confirmed that the injured student was transferred to Al-Amriya General Hospital to receive the necessary treatment, as it was revealed from the medical report that he had a penetrating wound below his rib cage.

The Directorate of Education confirmed that the incident was referred to the directorate’s administrative investigation to hold any of the negligent officials, whether the school principal or teachers, accountable.
