Al-Rashidi: The law to end tax disputes achieves balance, enhances production, and increases investment

Representative Muhammad Al-Rashidi, a member of the Senate from the Republican People’s Party, said that the draft law submitted by the government to extend the implementation of Law No. “79” For the year 2016 regarding ending tax disputes, which is being discussed today in the plenary session in the Senate, it aims to approve a tax policy that would achieve a balance between the rights of the state’s public treasury and the rights of financiers and taxpayers.

 

< p>Al-Rashidi explained in a statement today that the draft law enhances confidence and contributes to enhancing production power and stimulating and increasing investments, by reducing tax disputes and speeding up their settlement, alleviating the financial burdens borne by tax taxpayers, and stabilizing their tax and financial situations and positions in light of the deteriorating economic conditions. The world is going through as a result of the events taking place on the global scene.

The senator pointed out that this law corrects the course of tax policy and helps link long-term economic growth and improve the distribution of economic benefits and advantages to all the different sectors in the country. Society, which requires achieving a balance between social justice and tax revenues.

MP Muhammad Al-Rashidi pointed out that ending tax disputes approves the organization of the state’s economic system, ensures the achievement of prosperity, sustainable development, social justice, raises the standard of living, and reduces unemployment rates. Supporting competitiveness, encouraging investment and growth, preventing monopolistic practices, and ensuring fair distribution of development returns.
