Al-Jundi: The President’s speech at the Arab-Islamic Summit is a warning message against the consequences of violating the rights of the Palestinians

Engineer Hazem El-Gendy, a member of the Senate and a member of the Supreme Committee of the Wafd Party, said that the speech of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, during his participation in the activities of the Arab-Islamic Summit held in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, came clearly and decisively to express Egypt’s position regarding this crisis scene in the region. It directly expressed the extent of dissatisfaction with the position of the international community and its inability to carry out its role in protecting human rights and maintaining security.

The soldier confirmed, in a statement, that President Sisi raised several points. Essentially, it reflects the vision and strategy of the Egyptian state, especially with regard to the Palestinian issue and Lebanon, based on denouncing the killing practices committed against civilians, especially in the Gaza Strip, where he affirmed Egypt’s categorical rejection of attempts to liquidate the Palestinian issue in any way, whether by displacing the population or transforming the Gaza Strip. To an area uninhabitable for life.

He pointed out that the President was keen to confirm the firm position that Egypt has adopted for decades regarding the rights of the Palestinian people, as Cairo considers the Palestinian issue a central and uncompromising issue. In it, it rejects any attempts to change the demographic reality in the occupied Palestinian territories, and sends a warning of the consequences of violating the rights of the Palestinian people to their land and sanctities.

The Senator appreciated the President’s announcement and his continued affirmation. On Egypt’s commitment to providing support to Lebanon in the face of the attacks and challenges it faces, he said: This comes in light of the critical circumstances that Lebanon is experiencing, where its institutions are under severe pressure, and where the Lebanese people are suffering from multiple crises, and the President chose to single out the Lebanese army as a gesture of support, in an indication of Egypt’s awareness of the importance of the army’s role as an essential element of stability in facing challenges.
