The first elections for the Association of Auditors at the Journalists Syndicate were held today, after its recent establishment, in the presence of the Head of the Journalists Syndicate, Khaled El-Balshi, Hussein El-Zanati, and Mahmoud Kamel, supervisor of the union’s links. The quorum was reached in the General Assembly of Auditors, with more than 50% of those registered.
The elections began at one-thirty in the afternoon over the course of an hour, and resulted in the victory of Ibrahim Al-Azhari from Al-Ahram to head the association, and Saad won membership.
