Al -Azhar University progresses on 12 scientific specializations in the global QS classification for the year 2025 AD
I announce the classification of QS & Lrm; The Global University Specialties for the year 2025 included 19 Egyptian universities & nbsp; foremost of which is & nbsp; and within the six centers, Al -Azhar University came within the classification of scientific disciplines; Where Al -Azhar University has made a remarkable progress in its inclusion in 12 scientific specializations, which reflects its academic and research development. Under the supervision and follow -up of & nbsp; Scientific in the colleges of the university in Cairo and the regions a major role in achieving this. The International QS of Al-Azhar University included the development witnessed by the university sectors globally and came as follows:
-Petroleum Engineering: Category (101 & Ndash; 150). Class Pharmacy (201 & Ndash; 250). Medicine: Category (401 & ndash; 450). & Nbsp; & nbsp; & nbsp; Engineering and Technology: Category & Nbsp; (401 & ndash; 450). & Nbsp; & nbsp; & nbsp; Computer and Information Systems: Category (751 & ndash; 850). & Nbsp; & nbsp; & nbsp; Life and Medicine Sciences: Category (401 & Ndash; 450). Agriculture: Category (301 & Ndash; 350). Biology (501-505). Chemistry: Category (451 & ndash; 500). Natural Sciences: Category (451 & Ndash; 500). Physics and astronomy: Category (501 & Ndash; 550). As a result of the increase in the financing of research projects, and the enhancement of cooperation with international researchers, which contributed to raising the quality of joint scientific research and increasing the number of martyrs in it, and helped to publish them in prestigious scientific journals with a high influence. From achieving a wide global spread, and contributed to improving the classification of universities and research centers at the international level; In line with Egypt’s Vision 2030 for sustainable development, which aims to prepare a generation of Egyptian university graduates capable of creating a qualitative shift in various scientific and professional fields, indicating that the global QS classification depends on four main indicators, includes: the academic reputation of the university provides, the reputation of graduates in the labor market, the size of research certificates from published research, and the extent of international cooperation between researchers across various countries, pointing out The global QS classification for university disciplines includes 55 sub -majors distributed in five major fields, including: Arts and Humanities, Engineering and Technology, Life and Medicine, Natural Sciences, and Social and Administrative Sciences. And professionalism, as it is an effective way to compare the various programs offered by Egyptian universities. Its academic strength in the field of Arab and Islamic studies is not calculated originally in such classifications, knowing that Al -Azhar University takes at the same time at the hands of the sectors of humanitarian studies and trade and the rest of the engineering and scientific sectors that do not represent a presence in this classification; In order to increase its international scientific and research production, in a way that enhances its academic reputation to catch up with other existing sectors, knowing that the university provides all support methods and takes measures that guarantee the development of the educational process and its progress towards keeping pace with the mechanisms of the times and its outputs in a correct and studied way.
