Al-Azhar Mosque provides children of Egyptians abroad with the opportunity to enroll in Holy Quran memorization programs through the distance learning system
Under the generous patronage of His Eminence the Grand Imam, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, Sheikh of Al-Azhar, Al-Azhar Al-Sharif launches an initiative to memorize the Holy Qur’an for Egyptian children abroad, by providing them with the opportunity to join the Holy Qur’an gallery at Al-Azhar Mosque through the distance learning system. This initiative comes in Within the framework of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif’s keenness to provide programs for Egyptian children abroad to facilitate ways for them to connect their children with the Book of God, in an easy way and at the hands of specialists, the first batch of this initiative begins in January. 2025, with a capacity of 5,000 students, and under the direct supervision of His Eminence Prof. Dr. Muhammad Abd al-Rahman al-Duwaini, Undersecretary of Al-Azhar al-Sharif.
His Eminence Dr. Abdel Moneim Fouad, Scientific Supervisor of the Corridors, said that studying in the Corridor of the Holy Qur’an program is for children Egyptians abroad will be studying remotely through the international platform of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, which provides an opportunity for all Egyptians residing abroad to join the Al-Azhar corridor, in… A step aimed at facilitating access to memorizing the Holy Qur’an and strengthening the connection with the Book of God, which contributes to expanding the activity of the Holy Qur’an Gallery at Al-Azhar Mosque.
As His Eminence Dr. Hani Odeh explained, Director of Al-Azhar Mosque, said that applications to join the programs of the Holy Quran Gallery for Egyptians abroad will start from today and for a period of 15 days, provided that applicants meet the following conditions:
First: that Proficient in the Arabic language, which facilitates the process of learning and interacting with the Book of God Almighty.
Second: Applicants for Rwaq Al-Qur’an Al-Karim programs for Egyptians abroad must be residing outside Egypt.
Third: Pay the fees. The required files for enrollment in the corridor are opened, after passing the placement test.
Fourth: The age of the applicant must not be less than 5 years to register in the Children’s Hall, and the age of the applicant must not be less than 13 years to register. In Rwaq Al-Kabir, indicating that this initiative enhances the cultural and religious identity of members of Egyptian communities, which helps them preserve their heritage, traditions, and Islamic identity and spread moderate thought.
