Al-Azhar Forum for Contemporary Issues continues At Al-Azhar Al-Sharif Mosque, its weekly activities are Tuesday, under the title: “Social solidarity…an Islamic vision,” under the patronage of His Eminence the Grand Imam Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, Sheikh of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, and under the guidance of Dr. Muhammad Al-Duwaini, Undersecretary of Al-Azhar, and the supervision of Dr. Abdel Moneim Fouad, General Supervisor of the Al-Azhar Corridor, and Dr. Hani Odeh, General Director of the Mosque. Al-Azhar.
This week’s forum will be lectured by His Eminence Prof. Dr. Fayyad Hussein, The former Minister of Finance, Professor of Economics at the Faculty of Commerce, Al-Azhar University, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Abdel Malik, Vice President of Al-Ahar University, and Prof. Dr. Abdel Moneim Fouad, Professor of Doctrine and Philosophy at Al-Azhar University, and General Supervisor of Scientific Activities of the Al-Azhar Corridor at Al-Azhar Mosque.
Dr. Abdel Moneim Fouad said that the “Al-Azhar Forum for Contemporary Issues” is one of the important activities that the Al-Azhar Corridor is keen on implementing. Held, pointing out that the titles of the forums are chosen according to the latest developments in the current circumstances, the doubts surrounding the constants of the true Sharia, and the variables facing the homeland and the Islamic and Arab nation, stressing that the selection of issues comes in accordance with the events that the Egyptian street is experiencing that concern a wide sector of the masses, and it did not stop. Not only does it refute the suspicions raised about Islam, but it also discusses all issues in Egypt and abroad. He pointed out that when choosing titles, lecturers are chosen very carefully, according to the topic of the forum, and accordingly, specializations and positions are chosen, whether from members of the Council of Senior Scholars or senior scholars and experts in various specializations from Al-Azhar University and outside it, according to the topic being discussed.
