Al-Azhar Mosque during its weekly meeting: Honoring people of determination in Islam

Under the generous patronage of His Eminence the Grand Imam Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, Sheikh of Al-Azhar, Al-Azhar Mosque held a new episode of the weekly jurisprudential meeting in sign language for the deaf and hard of hearing, under the title “And We have honored the sons of Adam,” in which Dr. Mona Ashour, a preacher at the Islamic Research Academy and a member of the Arab Organization for Sign Language Interpreters.

Dr. explained. Mona Ashour, that God – Glory be to Him – did not create anything in vain. God Almighty created night and day, snow and fire, sweet and bitter, and He also created from people the strong and the weak, the rich and the poor, the healthy and the sick, and this diversity is part of the wisdom of God Almighty because this world is a house of testing and the hereafter is a house of decision. God Almighty said: “He who created death and life that He may test you as to which of you is best in deeds.” So God tested – Glory be to Him – Some people and robbed them of some blessings to test them, will they be patient or not? It is a message from God Almighty to every healthy person. Will he thank God Almighty for the blessing of wellness or not? Also, how will he deal with the afflicted person? What services will he provide to him? All creatures are equal to God and they must be honored as the Truth has honored them. Blessed and Most High – honoring is general for all the children of Adam, without distinguishing between the correct one or the deaf and the hearing person We have been favored.

The preacher at the Islamic Research Academy added: We have The law paid attention to people of determination, when it was narrated that Saad, may God be pleased with him, saw that he had superiority over those below him, so the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said, “Will you be supported and provided for except by the weak among you?” Narrated by Al-Bukhari in his Sahih. In this hadith, Musab bin Saad narrates that Saad bin Abi Waqqas, may God be pleased with him, saw that he had superiority over those weaker than him. Because of his strength and courage in the battles, the Prophet, peace and blessings of God be upon him, reminded him of the virtue of those who were weaker than him, and that God provides for them and gives them victory because of their supplications. If the strong person is strong, God will help the Muslims through him with his courage and strength in fighting the enemies; God Almighty also supports Muslims by supplicating their weak ones and submitting them to God Almighty. This is because the worship and supplication of the weak is more sincere and more humble. Because their hearts were free of attachment to the trappings and adornments of the world and the purity of their consciences, their concern was one, and the Prophet, peace and blessings of God be upon him, intended with this statement to urge Saad, may God be pleased with him, to be humble, and to banish arrogance and arrogance from the hearts of the believers. So that no one despises any of the Muslims. She continued: Although Islam spoke about the right of people of determination, urged it, and warned against violating it  Also, Egyptian law has established a penalty for bullying, but in our society we see many deaf people being subjected to bullying, harm, and having their rights taken away  If people knew the value of people of determination before God, they would compete to serve them and be close to them, and if the afflicted person knew what blessings God Almighty had prepared for him because of this disability, they would cry with intense joy. On the authority of Jabir, may God be pleased with him, he said, The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, “He would like to.” The people of good health on the Day of Resurrection, when the people of calamity will be given the reward if their skins in this world had been cut with scissors.” – Narrated by Al-Tirmidhi
