Al-Azhar Alumni Organization participates in the presidential initiative “Bedaya”

Today, the Al-Azhar Alumni Organization launched the “Governance and Anti-Corruption Programme,” through training courses provided by the “Al-Azhar Ambassadors Project.” , delivered by Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Al-Saeed, Vice President of Cairo University, Coordinator of the Ministry of Higher Education for the National Anti-Corruption Strategy, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Abdel Dayem Naseer, Secretary-General of the Organization, Advisor to the Grand Imam of Ghadila, and Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Al-Hodhud, scientific advisor to the organization, former president of Al-Azhar University, Dr. Hamdallah Al-Safti, Director of Scientific and Cultural Affairs at the organization, General Supervisor of the Al-Azhar Ambassadors Project, and a number of deans, professors and students of Al-Azhar University, both Egyptians and expatriates.

Dr. Abdel Dayem Naseer welcomed the attendees and said: The organization The International School of Al-Azhar Graduates is concerned with human development, and to consolidate this interest, the organization offers a number of training courses, which establish noble skills and values, and avert immoral morals, such as: injustice and corruption, which creates conscious generations in us.

The doctor said. Ibrahim Al-Hodhud: True Islam built sublime values, establishing the principle of justice and equality, fulfilling rights to their owners, and combating corruption in societies. This requires all individuals to learn their rights and duties, so that they have an awareness that helps them perform their life and professional tasks to the fullest.

Dr. Mahmoud Al-Saeed, Vice President of Cairo University, coordinator of the Ministry of Higher Education for the National Anti-Corruption Strategy, began his lecture by pointing out that the Holy Qur’an established the principle of combating corruption and establishing justice among people, and this is evident in the Almighty’s saying: (Corruption has appeared on land and sea What the hands of the people have earned), which gives great importance to this lecture.

He said that the Egyptian state launched a national strategy to combat corruption in multiple versions, and at the end of each version the achievements are evaluated with the aim of identifying successes, identifying challenges and building on that. The new version of the strategy is being prepared, pointing out that the 2019-2022 version of the National Anti-Corruption Strategy achieved a success rate of 87%, which urges us to spread awareness and participate to achieve greater success in combating corruption.
