After Musk announced the launch of Starlink Internet in Yemen, the Houthis declare that this service is “illegal” in Yemen

Arab Defense Website September 21, 2024: The Starlink service provides low-cost internet access using a chair-sized terminal connected to one of the satellites in the Starlink constellation orbiting in low Earth orbit.

Yemen’s Houthi rebels have declared the use of Starlink internet services illegal, just a day after Elon Musk announced plans to provide internet connections in the country using Starlink terminals.

The Ministry of Communications in Houthi-controlled areas warned citizens against dealing with Starlink, noting that its services are illegal.
